Vortex Roller

Story Time~
Those who have been around since the early days before the “sacred bang” (resulting in the spinning expansion of space & time)…may recall some of my first EDC designs were knuckle rollers. While I never had them machined, quite a few SLA prints were released into the wild with great feedback.
My amazing mom, who supports anything I set my heart on, happens to gravitate towards knuckle rollers herself. She has asked several times if I was ever going to have “one of the prints I made her machined”. Figured I’d be proactive about Mother’s Day this year & have it made!

I honestly wanted to make as few of these as possible, while avoiding added production time of a new spinner 😉. As I am on a constant quest of experimentation, I figured I’d explore a new reputable machine shops & challenge them with one of my roller designs. Only 7 of these will be released into the wild.
